The color of the stool changes because the bile is not made enough by a malfunctioning liver. It can become gray, clay colored or pale yellow in appearance instead of being brown. It is not dangerous if this happens periodically. Visit your doctor if it happens often!

  1. Alterations in the Color of Urine

A sign of liver damage may be the alterations in the color of your urine. This means that your urine still have a dark color besides you drink enough water. The elevated levels of bilrubin in the bloodstream can cause orange, amber or brown color of your urine.

Dehydration often means dehydration, kidney abnormalities, enzyme deficiency, and urinary tract infection, taking B vitamin supplements or taking antibiotics.

  1. Digestion Issues

The liver is also one of the most important organs in the body because it makes bile that assists the nutrients be better processes and absorbed by the small intestines. You can develop an increase in indigestion and diarrhea if your liver is failing. Gallstones, constipation, abdominal bloating, alcohol intolerance, fatty food intolerance and irritable bowel syndrome can be caused if the bile is not produced properly.

  1. Lack of Appetite

The lack of production of bile that helps digest fat in the diet can cause lack of appetite. Severe loss of weight and lack of appetite can be caused if the food is not properly digested. Visit your doctor if you experience these signs for a longer period of time.

  • Overall Weakness and Fatigue
